Like many, I didn’t grow up thinking of becoming an artist or philosopher, but over time I found certain tools and techniques to approach conversations worth having: Writing, philosophical inquiry, photography, painting, sketching, and of course, the hammer. These are all essays, attempts, methods of productively taking part in community and culture. Current Projects include works on Language and Violence in the US South, the sociality of work, and philosophy of technology. World Congress of Philosophy Presentation, August 2024

I presented at the World Congress of Philosophy, the largest philosophy conference in the world that takes place in various cities across the world every 5 years. 2024’s conference was hosted in Rome (at the Sapienza University).

The talk, related to the New Iron Age Documentary Series, went quite well and I met some new friends and got great feedback. A chance comment by David Chalmers also inspired a new essay and book project that I have been working on non-stop since the conference. Can’t wait to share.
