My background as an artist began with writing, which I later discovered to be not the goal but the medium of my actual interests, which might be best summed up, simply, as articulated inquiry or Philosophy.  My primary interest is based in language and how it relates to the experience of identity.   Current Projects include works on Language and Violence in the US South, the sociality of work, as well as an autobiographically based tribute to recently deceased music legend and friend, Bobby Womack.  This blog will chronicle those projects as well as offer smaller, and hopefully interesting, sidenotes.  SEE BELOW FOR LATEST PROJECT IN THE WORKS.
